BAR HARBOR.

Couple of days ago we anchored in Bar Harbor. It was a small, cozy city where everybody seemed to know everybody. A small main street with shops, restaurants, one hairdresser, some small cafés were going uphill from the sea. Together with some people from the boat we met Richard, a local taxi driver that took us up to Cadillac mountain from where we could enjoy a fantastic view. Richard was a wonderful guide and very nice person and just because he thought we were so nice he took us for an extra long tour. He pointed out the golf court, the lakes, the park, the local hairdresser, the rich areas, the laboratory and so on. In a short time we kind of saw everything! A very nice and calm place with a beautiful nature!

In the seas around Bar Harbor you can find lots and lots of lobbsters, a huge tourist source! Discovery channel recorded some of their episodes of “Deadliest catch there” in these waters.

On the photo you can see my home for 4 weeks, the huge “Costa Atlantica”.

This is me with Richard, the wonderful taxi driver!
